Honesty and Keeping Promises

An honest attitude is good behavior, while keeping a legal promise is mandatory. So having an honest nature and keeping promises is a good thing for someone. In Arabic, honest is known as Sidqu or Shidiq, which means real or telling the truth. This means that honesty is a match between words and deeds. On the other hand, honesty is a similarity between reality and reality. In Islam it is clearly stated about the command to be honest. Al Ahzab verse 70 "O you who believe! Fear Allah and speak the truth" The Prophet also said about honesty, He said "Be honest! Verily honesty will show you to heaven" (HR - Muslim).
Once I had no money and had to borrow from someone. then I borrowed money from Dita.
Initially, Dita asked the witness to be the guardian of the debt. But there was no one there but me and him. Then I also said that Allah is sufficient as a witness and guarantor in the transaction. “Allah is sufficient as a guarantor.” For me, the mention of Allah's name in the covenant makes it very strong.
If violated, I am very afraid of God's wrath. Dita also believed in my determination. "You're right,". Finally I was given a loan of fifty thousand. Both agreed on a due date for a refund. The next day I came to see Dita. With a friendly smile Dita accepted it and she praised me because I could keep my promise well but I was not lulled by the compliment because keeping a promise is an obligation so that lies and betrayals do not occur. can also strengthen our relationship with someone so be a person who easily keeps promises.
